Came unstuck soon after your route joined the Wilson Trail as the route was closed, forcing me to descend to the East towards the Tsui Lam estate, from where green bus 17 took me to Lam Tin MTR. All the best, David. 回覆：Hi David, It would sometimes meet with the unpredictable things during the hike. I have ever climbed a hill over the mid-level. The path suddenly spring up much waters from the rocks as a stream. Because the path is very steep, as a result I was forced to unwillingly retrace the very long leg downhill. Best Regards, Horace

It would sometimes meet with the unpredictable things during the hike. I have ever climbed a hill over the mid-level. The path suddenly spring up much waters from the rocks as a stream. Because the path is very steep, as a result I was forced to unwillingly retrace the very long leg downhill.

I’d have struggled to find the steps from the roindabout that start the climb without your clear guidance. I did my own version after the peak as I wanted to « tick off » Pai Ngak Shan as well. I did, but the path is physically tiring as very overgrown and narrow in places, requiring a fair bit of bushwhacking and spider ducking! All the best, David. 回覆：Thanks for using the website again! There are many spiders along the paths in summer especially through the desolate countryside and forests that requires ducking them and breaking their nets. Moreover, to climb Pai Ngak Shan, it would be better to start from Pak Tam Au via the hill of Ngau Wu Tun then southward to Pai Ngak Shan. Actually I have not yet run the trail, maybe in the coming autumn. Best regards, Horace
