Didn’t continue to Bird Rock as that section already done last year, when I managed to miss Sunset Rock somehow. I decided to go down via Jat’s Incline as this historic road has interested me for years. The wonderful gwulo.com site had a picture of a hole beside this road that could well be an old charcoal kiln, so I wanted to check it out for myself. All the best, David
